- Your computer should now attempt to connect to the eduroam network – this may take 30 seconds or so.
- Lookout for a yellow popup bubble at the bottom of your screen saying Click here to select a certificate or other credentials for connection to the network eduroam, click on it when it appears.

- In the Enter Credentials window enter the following details: Username: your Bristol username with @bristol.ac.uk appended. For example ab1234@bristol.ac.uk
Password: your Bristol password
Logon Domain: leave blank
- Click Ok – Your computer should then authenticate you to the network and you will be able to access the Internet. This may take up to 30 seconds.

Once you have successfully entered your username and password for the eduroam network, Windows XP will remember it forever. In order to delete your credentials from your computer, please follow these instructions from Microsoft’s web site or run this: Delete Windows XP EAP Credentials Program.
Because Windows stores your password, it is recommended that you do not use eduroam with shared computers running Windows XP, unless you have your own personal username on the PC.
