FAQ: How do I remove the wireless settings profile from my iPod Touch / iPhone / iPad?

If you need to update the wireless settings on your iPod Touch / iPhone /iPad you may find that the new settings profile conflicts with the old one, so the device will not let you install the new settings profile.

In order to fix this you can romove the old settings profile as follows:

1. Go to Settings
2. General
3. Profiles
4. Select the profile you wish to remove (probably “eduroam”)
5. Select Remove
6. If asked, enter your device’s security PIN number

If your device still remembers eduroam, you will also need to:

1. Go to Settings
2. Choose Wi-Fi
3. Press the (>) on the eduroam line. Then press Forget this Network.
