High voltage works in Chemistry (previous) :: Power distribution problems: Arts Library, Vet School, Senate House (resolved) (next)
There have been reports of a fire next to the Student’s Union. It would appear that the power to the building has been switched off as a precaution. As such all network services, including wireless, are currently not available.

UPDATED 2009-09-15 10:02: The power to the building has been restored and the damage does not appear to be very severe, however access to the building may be restricted during the next few days.
